Founder & Clinical Director, Acclivity Mental Health
Nina-Shevon Steverson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Board-Certified TeleMental Health provider who brings warmth, authenticity, and clinical expertise to her work. As the Founder and Clinical Director of Acclivity Mental Health, she is passionate about helping clients rise above life’s challenges and rediscover a sense of calm, confidence, and connection.

With a background in trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based therapy, and internal family systems-inspired approaches, Nina helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relational patterns with compassion and clarity. Her approach is both rooted in evidence-based practice and grounded in genuine human connection, creating a safe, collaborative space for growth and healing.

Outside the office, Nina enjoys time with her family, creative projects, and exploring new ways to bring light, laughter, and mindfulness into everyday life.

Nancy Sims
LMHC- Mental Health Counselor
Nancy Sims, LMHC, is a seasoned mental health clinician at Acclivity Mental Health, where she has been a valued team member since 2022. Practicing since the 1990s, Nancy brings decades of experience from both community clinic settings and her impactful work with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

She specializes in women’s issues, trauma, anxiety, and depression—approaching each client with compassion, deep clinical insight, and a steady, grounded presence. Nancy is known for creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

Outside the therapy room, Nancy loves spending time with friends and family, enjoying camping trips, sharing laughs, and finding joy in simple fun.

Danielle Hix
Acclivity Mental Health Services Assistant
Danielle Hix, is a Georgia-raised virtual assistant with a passion for making workflows smoother and customer experiences better.
She brings expertise in customer service, administrative operations, credentialing, and meticulous organizational support. Whether managing schedules, verifying credentials, or keeping projects on track, Danielle thrives on bringing order and efficiency to every task.
Based in the heart of Georgia, Danielle mixes personalized service with dependability and attention to detail. She has worked with Acclivity Mental Health for almost 2 years, and look forward to many more!
